The only layout that is entirely mine is Boys and Their Toys. Many graphics are not mine. I give full credit to the designers.

Thanks

I'd like to thank everyone who downloaded my freebies. So far it seems like my 100% Boy kit was the biggest hit. I don't know why. I wish you could tell me so I could do it again for you.

I'd like to give a special thanks to Pattycakes! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. It means a lot to me. It takes a special person to comment with the new way 4shared is allowing comments and you leave one every time! Thanks again Pattycakes!

Your digi-friend,
LilyAnn

I'll see everyone next week. Keep scrappin'.
By the way, I'd love to see what you do with my kits.

Celebrate Parts 3 and 4

I'm going on vacation from Dec. 5th thru Dec. 12th. I'm giving you two parts today because I don't know if I'll have time the rest of this week. Part 4 is big. It's almost a kit in itself. I'll go out of my mind not being able to do scrapping while I'm away. Here is Part 3

Use the brads from part 3 in the center of the flowers in part 4 for a nice finishing touch.
Here is Part 4

Celebrate Big

Happy Thanksgiving! It's time to celebrate. I'm here with Part 2. This part includes six borders. It also has the six items in the pink box in all eight colors of the kit.
Don't forget to take a lot of pictures so you can scrap your Celebrations. Download Here

It's time to Celebrate

Hi there fellow scrappers. This is part 1 for my Celebrations kit. This part includes papers, an overlay and a tile (which allows you to change the size of the design on your papers and the background colors). I got carried away with part 2 and 3 which will be up soon. I still need approval for part 3. I've started on a addon too. This has three alphas, but only one is completed. I wanted to do a candle alpha but couldn't get it to look right. Maybe I'll try again though.

I don't think I mentioned that we're going to Florida (Disney World of course) from December 5th thru December 12th. We're almost done packing but the last minute things are always the hardest. Pictures and LO's will follow our return.

Anyway without further ado....Part 1.

Time flies when your having fun or busy!

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted last. So here is the update. I got my old computer back and was told to delete everything that wasn't needed. I started to delete stuff and crash, it froze and wouldn't start again. I had the computer doc look at it again and said the hard drive was fried and too full to move (sort to speak). Therefore, I lost most of my free downloads (I'm addicted to those freebies too.) Now doc set us up with a new hard drive and phantom drive and we got it back yesterday. It has nothing on it now.. :(. I need to at least put on Photoshop Elements. lol.

Anyway, I'm working on the next kit for Scrapkit Challenge. It's their anniversary this month so the title of the kit is called Celebrations. I should be posting part 1 shortly.

Today I have for you to see a layout I made using my kit from September. If you remember it was "100% Boy". The pictures are of my son.

The freebie today will also be in part 3 of my Celebrations kit. This was their monthly challenge... to make a present.

You can Download it HERE.

Home Baked Traditions Part 3

Here's the last part of Home Baked Traditions. Personally, this is not my best kit. I do like this part the best... especially the 1st place ribbon and the spoon alpha.

All is going well on the homefront. DH is going back to work on Wednesday. I worked every day last week. Unfortunately, my allergies are acting up the last two days. Haven't had an attack in a couple of years. Anyway, without further ado...

Home Baked Traditions Part 2

I've been working almost every day now. My husband finally got approved to go back to work after his knee surgery after being out of work since May 25th.

Here is Part 2 of a 3 part kit. Same preview as last part. This part includes the buttons, brads and the stripped frame. Look for part 3 on Sunday. If you missed the wreath which matches this kit, see the post below.

A Picture is worth a thousand words

We went into the city (New York that is) on October 9th to see the Disney store, M&M store, Toys R Us and the Hershey store. Here are some pics.

The making of a wreath

SKC had a challenge to make a wreath. It used more than the colors of this months challenge that's why I didn't put it into the kit. It does include the fork, spoon and knife which is in my Part 3. Look for Part 2 tomorrow or Wednesday.

Saturday we're having my DD 7th birthday party. I probably wouldn't get to the computer at all on Friday with last minute preparations and all. I worked Friday and today. Hopefully the schools will start calling more often. We need the money... than again who doesn't.

Home Baked Traditions

Sorry, it's been a while. My slow computer is sooo full to capacity that I can't even turn it on. I have to delete lots before I can even get on it to get the rest of 100% Boys. I guess I'll have to make some from scratch because I promised you. I'll start on that this week because the new kit is finished. It is just waiting for approval before I can give out the other parts. So here is Part 1. This is not my favorite kit, but I have some favorites... including two alphas coming in Part 3. This is a preview of the whole kit that's coming your way.

Part 5 and more to follow

Well the slow computer should be home in a day or so. It seems a couple of the wires got loose on the inside and the doctor said he never saw a hard drive so full. He said that at least three times. Guess I got to clean it out. That will take forever but the first thing I will take off there are the goodies I promised you.

I worked today and put my application in my local district but she will be on vacation until Monday. Husband will be out 3 to 4 more weeks. When we go shopping he can't walk more than 1 hour tops. How is he supposed to work standing for 8 hours?

The next kit is called Home Baked Traditions. I'll start putting that up once the first part gets OKed.

Anyway, here's what you been waiting for... part 5. One more part to follow.

Other Contributions

Don't forget to check out Scrapkit Challenge Oct.1. There are some other wonderful kits posted there with the same color palette and theme. Link Here.

Hopefully we'll bring my slow computer to the Dr. tomorrow. I do have some pieces from the add-on in this computer. I'll get that packaged up after I put the kids to bed or tomorrow. Here is a preview of the alpha.

Some Trouble

My slow computer is not booting up. I will not be able to get the add on (part 5) for my loyal readers until I have the computer Doctor take a look at the computer. (lol or should I say BOOHOO). Part 5 is almost a kit in itself, that's how big it is. I got a little carried away with this kit. I actually made another alpha last night. I'll try to get that one packaged up for you within a day or so.

In the mean time, part 4 was put on 4shared before my computer went ker-pleuy. This preview is correct. It shows the whole kit so far.

Next Installment

I tried to make my own blinkie as you can see from the blank space on the right. Once again, please bear with me while I learn new things.

Here is part three. I have at least two more parts coming. Today I have the preview up for what you should have so far.

100% Boy Part 2

I'm going to make this short so I can put the rest of this kit together for download.

Well, I got called to substitute twice this week. It felt good to be back in the classroom after 4 years. It's amazing how many familiar faces I saw in the district. That's good that the teacher turnover is low! Now I have to make sure that my kids do have somewhere to go once my husband goes back to work mid October.

Now on to the freebie!
I'm sorry, I'll try to get better and have the correct preview with the download. Part 2 has the borders shown here and eight photo corners not shown in this preview. Download HERE.

New Kit

I have a new kit ready to start sharing with you. I've been working on this kit over the last few weeks. It's part of the Scrap Kit Challenge that I worked on last month. This month it's called 100% Boy. It's not that often that you find a kit that can be used for the men or little men in your life and this collabrative kit is great. I'm not just saying that because I contributed. I've seen what the other gals have been working on. It is great. (Oh that gave me another idea of something to add to the kit... we call my son "little man". I'll have to add something with those words on it!)

I've found my old resume, now I have to update it. I didn't find my teaching certificates yet. I don't remember where that "safe" place was. I'm putting an application in for substitute teaching at my local school district and need it for that.

Anyway, without furthur ado, here is part 1.

This part only has the papers and one border not shown. The other borders will be in part 2. Download HERE.

Alpha as promised

Here is one of the alphas I've been working on for my wedding kit. Sorry it is only Capital letters. I'll make the Lower case if people ask for it. I have another alpha started. That should be posted in a few days also.

Nothing much going on on the homefront. DD likes school. DS is doing well with his speech therapy. DH is going for therapy for his leg. Hopefully he should be back to work next month.

If you want something special for the wedding kit let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Why wait...

Why should I wait to give you week 3 when it is done already? Here it is... same preview as before. You should have the whole kit now.

As soon as I get my credits in order, I'll put a few of the pages I scrapped on here. Don't know whether it will be in a slide show or just posts (after all, I'm still learning blogging).

Also, I know I promised my readers another alpha to go with my Wedding Kit. I started it, but it's on the other computer. My husband seems to be hogging the better computer.

Enchanted Garden Part 2

My daughter got off to a good start at school. She likes her new teacher. My son was sooo upset when we dropped her off. He cried all the way home.

Husband's leg is recouping nicely, although he hasn't taken cooking back yet. He's the cook in the family, not me.

The next kit I'm working on at Scrapkit Challenge is called 100% Boy.

Anyway here is part 2. Same preview. Part 3 is my favorite and includes the tree, alpha, butterfly and banner.

Mauve Alphabet

Hi friends. Thanks for stopping by. My DH knee is still recouperating slowly. I went to get fingerprinted today. I'm going to go back to substitute teaching and needed that done for employment. I've worked for this distict before my son was born and I called last week to see if they still had me on the list to sub. Hopefully, they'll call more than they did the last year I worked for them... they were on budget cuts then.

I can't wait to see other people. In my field you can't get away from the kids (lol). It has been a long time since I worked.

Anyway, here is the alpha I promised. I want to try another alpha that matches the stripped paper. I want to do another ribbon that says "I love you" in these colors, possibly some frames. Who knows what else.

For someone new at this the number of comments are really lacking. When I DL other freebies, comments usually run about 10% of DL. Here I don't even get that much. Please give encouragement to the new blogger and new designer.

Papers as promised

It's been a couple of days since my last post. My husband had knee surgery on Thursday and his recouperation isn't as easy as I thought it would be. Besides my two kids to look after, now I have him too. Getting ready for school, prepping my resume (in my head for now), etc., etc. It's a lot of work.

Anyway, I've made the papers as I promised. The preview doesn't do them justice. The texture and bevels are hard to see. Some of the variations are also hard to see. Practice makes perfect. I'm practicing a lot!!!

Next I'll work on an alpha.

Wedding Colors

Hi friends. Although my wedding was almost 10 years ago it seemed like yesterday. My wedding color was mauve. I've made hearts, ribbons and bows for todays freebie. It may seem a little boring and monochromatic but I'm still experimenting to make my freebies better. One shape trying different styles to see what they do work I may decide to add another color, possibly blue, but I'm not sure yet.

I don't like the way a couple of the hearts turned out but I put them in anyway.

I'm going to try to make some papers for next time.

Wedding Labels

I'm learning something new everytime I make a post. It takes a lot of reading and trying until it works right but I'm not one to give up right away.
This is a rough week. My DH is going for knee surgery on Thursday. DD finished camp last week. Getting ready for school in two weeks.

Even with my busy schedule I still found time to make a little something for you. Thanks for stopping by. Let me know if you like me to add some sayings like the ones I'll post up a little later when I get on my working computer. Using my DD slow computer now.

Attached is a ribbon I made that cordinates with the Scrap Kit Challenge I'm working on.

Second try is a charm

I tried again to get my frame download link to work. I did it this time. Sometimes its fun experimenting to make something work right. Sometimes it is frustrating. I worked on it for one hour last night and couldn't get it. We went to Wal-Mart and I had an AH-HA moment in the car and said I have to try it that way. And what do you know, it worked. Hope you like it.

Click on the frame in the previous post to download. And for coming back I'll be attaching the two papers also posted on the Scrapkit Challenge. The gals over there are great. Thanks again gals.

Click on the first picture to get download.

Thanks for coming by

Fellow scrappers. Thanks for trying my site. I'll try to post my frame I showed when I started posting at Scrapkit Challenge.

I'm working on it!

My DD finished summer camp today. Yesterday they did a talent show and today was their picnic. This summer is flying by... two more weeks before school starts.

I'm learning!!!!

Wow! I can get my blog up from my friends computer. I must be doing something right. (lol)

I sent my week 1 submission to Scrapkit Challenge. I can't wait to hear back from them!

Tomorrow, time permitting, I'll try to add a picture on. Maybe even add one to my header.

A First Try

I set up this blog to share with cyberworld some of my digital creations. I'm currently working on a collaborative kit with Scrap Kit Challenge called Enchanted Garden.

This is my first try at blogging so if it isn't working correctly, it's probably because I haven't figured out how to do it correctly yet.
